The Teachers at SJS give their focus in creating a healthy and exhilarating learning environment that stimulates excitement and delight in overall learning process. They regularly motivate students for mastering new skills and concepts in a very congenial environment. We practice a student–centred approach of instruction following an inter-disciplinary and enquiry-based curriculum. Special classes are organised for slow learners.

Promotion is given on the basis of the year's performance and not merely on marks scored in the final exams. Continuous assessment & evaluation of students performance is done through Unit test, Monday tests, Term examination, Preparatory examination and Annual examination in all the core subjects and languages.
